As you can tell by today’s mileage, it was a long day. Add to that over 5,000 feet of climbing and a 30-40 mph headwind for the last 50 miles, it literally broke me, physically and mentally. I was out there for over 14 hours.

I will have a full report tomorrow and how I foolishly made some promises that my body and mind could not keep. Since I did two stages today, I am laying low in Rawlins, Wyoming tomorrow, and back on the bike Sunday.
