A New Challenge
After recently retiring, I wanted to try something that would be a real stretch both physically and mentally, and even a little scary. I decided to translate my love of cycling into a long and winding solo cycling trip from Astoria, Oregon to Richmond, Virginia and then down the Outer Banks of North Carolina to Camp Lejeune, the Marine Base where my daughter, her husband and my grandson live. I hope to keep friends and family up to date through this blog, at least to the extent that this can help the authorities find me when I lose my way. Wish me luck.
